Maruti Suzuki Dzire has undergone a fresh update, adding several features over its sibling, the Swift. The new 2024 Dzire brings a revamped exterior, adding convenience, safety, and style to set it apart in the compact sedan market. Let's take a look at the key upgrades that make the new Dzire stand out.
Now, the Dzire sports a bolder, wider grille and sleek LED headlamps with DRLs. That has really given it a more sharpened look compared to Swift. Chrome detailing and unique black trims across the front grille make it look more premium in its aesthetic appeal.
The rear of the Dzire comes with Y-shaped LED taillights and a refined chrome strip on the boot, so it differentiates its back profile. Sporty touches at the rear bumper and low-profile spoiler enhance the modernity of the Dzire. The Swift continues in its simple rear design.
One of the standout inclusions in the Dzire is its 360-degree camera. This more advanced feature, not included in the Swift, would give drivers a full view around the vehicle and make parking in tight spaces much easier. With rear parking sensors, this feature enhances safety and convenience, especially when driving in the city.
The electric sunroof, which gives the car a luxurious feel, is an attribute not present in Swift, thus offering a more premium feel within the confines of a compact sedan. This will attract more customers from this category of premium users.
Some new things in the Swift are cruise control and automatic climate control, both of which are reassuring comfort with long drives. While cruise control makes it possible to have a steady speed on highways with the Swift, the auto climate control ensures a constant cabin temperature so that passengers do not need to adjust.
Inside, the Dzire boasts a free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is larger than the Swift's 7-inch unit. The infotainment system also carries Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and it is smoother and more immersive. The Dzire comes with a restyled dual-tone dashboard and a new steering wheel. These give it a modern look as compared to the simple layout of the Swift.
Both Dzire and Swift have the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol. Still, the former gets an automatic transmission version in CNG, which appeals to the eco-friendly buyer who seeks an automatic option-although absent on the Swift.
The 2024 Maruti Dzire is likely to launch November 11, and compact sedans like the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze are its competitors. The new design and additional features make the Dzire an automobile that will appeal to the customer who is looking for elegance, functionality, and modern technology in a car.
