Audi has officially teased the third-generation Q3 SUV ahead of its global unveiling, which is scheduled for June 16, 2025. The current Q3 was launched in international markets back in 2018, so a major update has been expected for some time. Audi last introduced the Q3 in India in 2022, but this new version will bring big changes in design and technology.
Based on the teaser images shared by Audi, the new Q3 will get a redesigned front fascia. It will feature a bold split-headlamp design, highlighted by slim pixel LED DRLs placed higher on the front end, while the primary headlamps sit lower on the bumper. This new lighting setup hints at a more aggressive and modern styling direction for the Q3.
The side profile reveals a sculpted front fender and a pronounced bumper design, continuing Audi’s evolving SUV design language. Although the teaser images only show part of the vehicle, they indicate a more dynamic and robust stance.
Globally, the new Q3 is expected to launch with a mix of petrol and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options. These electrified variants align with Audi’s push toward a more sustainable lineup across markets.
In India, the current Audi Q3 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 187 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and features Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system. Whether the next-gen model will bring hybrid powertrains to India remains to be seen.
While Audi India launched the second-generation Q3 in 2022, the international version has been around since 2018. With the global debut just days away, Indian buyers can expect more details on local availability and specifications to follow soon after the international reveal.
