Nissan India has launched the Magnite Facelift in the market today with an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This special introductory price is valid for the first 10,000 deliveries. The updated SUV features cosmetic design changes with some additional tech features. Bookings for the Magnite facelift are currently open while its deliveries are set to begin from tomorrow (October 5).
The facelifted Magnite features an updated hexagonal front grille. The grille highlights new glossy black surroundings with two chunky elements on both sides. Other exterior features include an auto LED headlamp with a bi-functional projector, boomerang-shaped DRLs, an aggressive front skid plate, a new 6-spoke dual-tone alloy wheel, revamped taillights with a blacked-out effect, and a rear wiper.
The interior of the 2024 Magnite facelift highlights a new Black and Orange theme. It also gets first-in-segment 360-degree leather treatment including dual-tone leather-wrapped dashboard, steering wheel, front & door armrest, parking brake lever, all door trim, auto dim frameless IRVM, and MODURE Quailited leather seat upholstery.
Other feature highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Andoird Auto & Apple Carplay, a 7-inch full TFT multi-functional, a wireless phone charger, 4-colour ambient lighting, and type C fast charging USB ports.
On the safety front, Magnite gets 40+ safety features including six airbags across all variants, 3 point seat-belt for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a high-speed alert system, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and a 360-degree camera.
Nissan has not made any changes to the powertrain of the Magnite facelift. It continues to use the same 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The former is paired to 5-speed MT, AMT and can produce the power of 71 bhp/96 Nm while the latter can churn out 99 bhp/160 Nm using 5-speed MT, CVT.
The latest Nissan Magnite model is available in six variants - Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. The starting price of the Magnite facelift stands at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) while the top model costs Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
