Tata Motors is planning to launch the Harrier EV in the Indian market by the end of the current financial year. Ahead of that, the brand has started testing the model on roads. Recent spy shots have hinted at its interior features including the new central control panel. The safety will also be boosted on the electric SUV. Let's take a look at the Harrier EV interior features.
Based on the recent sightings, the Harrier EV carries the same interior features as its ICE-powered model including AC vents, steering wheel, centre console, door trims, and dashboard.
Other feature highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (which is mounted in the centre), and a multifunction steering wheel with an illuminated brand logo in the centre.
The 2025 Harrier EV is also expected to have a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, a new-gen central control panel, personalized dashboard lighting, persona theme interiors, and a roof-mounted fan.
Tata Harrier has already achieved a 5-star rating in Global NCAP. With the launch of the Harrier EV as a premium product, the brand aims to add more safety features to the electric vehicle compared to the ICE version.
The current Harrier model is offered with ADAS features, i.e., Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Based on the brand's Acti. EV platform, Tata Harrier EV could come equipped with a 60-80 kWh battery pack. With the AWD option, the EV is expected to offer a certified range of around 500 km. It will support fast charging as well as V2L & V2V charging capabilities.
