After the excitement of the 2025 Auto Expo in January, February will keep the car launch buzz going with a few new models. This time, most of the cars that would be launching will be equipped with traditional engines (ICE vehicles). Though not as hectic as the month of January, February does have some cool ones in store. Kia Syros, Audi RS Q8, and a few others are going to be launch in India. The cars will come with different features and styles for different buyers.
Let's look at the new cars launching in February 2025 in India, along with some that are expected soon.
Kia will bring a new, smaller-sized SUV called Syros in the market on 1st February of 2025. Kia will place the Syros above the Sonet in its portfolio. The price would be slotted in between Rs. 9 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh, ex-showroom. Like Sonet, it can be purchased with a turbo-petrol and a diesel option as well. Now one can pre-book this SUV at Rs. 25,000. Delivery will be commenced in mid-February.
Kia Syros will be offered in six major trims: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX (O), and HTX+(O). The SUV would feature 12.3-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated rear seats. Engine options for customer would be 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine which provides 117 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque or 1.5-litre diesel which provides 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It will be paired with 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque covertor automatic.
Audi India has announced the launch of a refreshed RS Q8 on 17 February, 2025. RS Q8 is the performance-oriented variant of the Q8 SUV. The car comes with restyled single frame grilles, Matrix LED headlamps, and an advanced front bumper as minor styling changes. Both the Standard and Performance variants would be available in this car.
The SUV will come with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. In the sheets, this manages to produce 592 bhp and 800 Nm of torque in the regular model, though for the performance version, 631 bhp and 850 Nm of torque is provided. That would result in accelerating it from 0 to 100 kmph within 3.8 seconds topped out at a governed electronic rate of 250 kmph. Its performance model faster at that by 100 kmph, achieving in just 3.6 seconds. It is draped with an upmarket interior, more aggressive-looking upholstery, and a dual-screen setup. The expected range for the price of RS Q8 lies somewhere in between Rs. 2 crore to Rs. 2.5 crore.
MG Motor India has not comfirmed yet, but we can expect that brand will bring out the Cyberster EV in February 2025. The roadster, which was unveiled at the 2025 Auto Expo, was a full electric version. It is to be said that it shall get a 77 kWh battery pack and that shall ensure an all-range drive of 443 km. Roadster is going to be powered by a dual electric motor powertrain that will deliver 503.02 bhp and 725 Nm. The 0-100 kmph will take it merely within 3.2 seconds. Car is to be offered from MG's premium 'Select' dealerships.
The Cyberster will be equipped with a range of high-grade equipment, such as a 6-way electrically adjustable seat, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, and advanced driver assistance systems. MG has already started taking pre-bookings for the vehicle.
The M9 electric MPV is expected to go alongside the Cyberster. There will be two variants for it, the 6-seater and the 7-seater. M9 will have a 90 kWh battery pack through which could offer a range as high as 430 km. Inside, the same premium standard features as well as some additional will be available like, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats that are paired with massage functions along with a 12-speaker sound system.
The M9 will features 7 airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS. It will be sold through MG's 'Select' dealerships and is expected to hit the roads in February.
Aston Martin will coming back with the model name Vanquish, marking an end to six years. It is expected to launch in February 2025. This new Vanquish will sports a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 and produces 835 hp with 1000 Nm of torque to the wheels. The top speed for the car will stands at 345km/hr while covering 0-100km/hr in 3.2 seconds.
Vanquish Aston Martin is going to give a jolt to all the manufacturer with a huge air vent on its bonnet, four exhausts at the back end, and LED tail-lights placed vertically. It will have an interior space equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and Bowers & Wilkins audio coupled with panoramic sunroof facilities. Its expected that price would go beyond Rs. 6 crores ex-showroom.
