The Vietnamese automaker, VinFast is all set to debut in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, from January 17 to 22. This will be VinFast's first-ever showcase in India with plans of debuting their electric models that are globally known. The company will be showcasing the entire global product lineup that it developed with right-hand drive. Let’s take a look at what VinFast has planned for India.
At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, the Vietnamese EV maker is likely to display its entire global product lineup where the e34 is globally equipped with a 110 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a maximum torque of 242 Nm. It also features a 41.9 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of approximately 318 km on a single charge.
It uses DC fast charging and can be charged from 10% to 70% in just 27 minutes. This electric compact SUV also offers three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

The company is planning to invest around $500 million over five years. To bring competitive pricing, VinFast will assemble its global products locally in India. The VF e34 is expected to debut during the 2025 festive season with a price range between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh. The first model units are expected to be imported, followed by the VF 6 and VF 7.
As per some reports, VinFast will apply for India's E-Vehicle policy that will import the VF 5 and e34 as CBUs at a reduced customs duty of 15%. The company official said that they will import EVs in CKD kit form and finally assemble them at a local plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
This highly awaited event will bring together the lead domestic and international companies, showcasing a wide range of vehicles powered by electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel technologies. The Auto Expo 2025 aims for highly modern advancement that will shape the future of mobility with a focus on sustainable innovation.
