The Vietnamese carmaker, VinFast has confirmed that it will be showcasing its VF 7 SUVs now along with the VF 9 which is a larger and tech-loaded SUV. It has been in the news that the brand will make its debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo, and the SUVs will make their India debut on 17 January 2025.
The VF9 is a large SUV with 3-row seating for up to 7 passengers. It is available in two variants: Eco and Plus. These variants have a 123 kWh battery that provides a range of 531 km and 468 km (respectively in each variant).
The SUV comes with a spacious cargo area and an additional front trunk under the bonnet. The interior of the cabin offers a 15.6-inch customizable touchscreen in the center with internet capabilities for navigation, internet, and much more, driver and front passenger heated seat, USB ports for all three rows, keyless, and many such high-tech features.
The VF9 offers a windshield, UV protection, underbody aero shields, a tailgate with an LED taillamp, and an auto-levelling headlamp, along with many charming exterior designs and features for a great presence and luxury feel.
Both variants of the VF9 are powered by dual electric motors that produce 396 BHP and 620 Nm. The brand claims that the SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.63 seconds, while its top speed is pegged at 200 km/h.
This showcase at the Auto Expo is going to be the first-ever debut of the globally known electric SUV brand VinFast in India. This is one of the most awaited showcases at the event for all car enthusiasts and fans alike.
