The third generation of the Duster is expected to arrive in India by 2025 from Renault. It is going to be an elongated SUV with similar rugged looks. The Duster will most likely sell with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit. The 1.5-litre is going to be available in both the CVT and manual variants, while the 1.3-litre will have an option of a CVT.
Coming to the interiors, the car promises a 10.1-inch touchscreen display screen, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay along with a 7-inch digital display. More features of the car include wireless charging, cruise control, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Safety features will be lane assist, automatic emergency braking, and ADAS. SUVs will be offered with AWD for the best off-road performance.
The Bigster will arrive in 2025. It will be a 7-seater SUV, but if it is based on the Duster's underpinnings. It will be over 4.57 meters in length. Petrol and hybrid variants of the Bigster will launch along with this, and not to forget, the 1.2-litre mild-hybrid turbo petrol variant. The hybrid variant will be able to complete 80% of its city runs on electric power.
