The Indian car market is soon to witness the launch of two compact SUVs. While Nissan will bring the facelift version of Magnite, Skoda will introduce its all-new sub 4m Kylaq SUV. Ahead of the launch of these upcoming cars, we have got our eyes on some essential details.
Let's have an overview of the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift and Skoda Kylaq.
The Magnite is the only locally developed Nissan model available in India. This SUV has received several updates for its safety and transmission in the past year. Some special editions such as Red Edition, Kuro Edition, and Geza CVT were also introduced to the market.
Now, the Japanese automaker will launch the facelift version of its Magnite on October 4. The compact SUV will feature reworked front fascia, newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, and more. Safety features will include a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, 6 standard airbags, and TPMS.
Mechanically, there will be no changes. It will continue to carry the same powertrain choices (1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol) available in the outgoing model. Expect it to be priced around Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Inside, it could offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, a fully digital driver's display, ventilated front seats, and 6 airbags.
Under the hood, it will house a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, producing 114 bhp with 178 Nm. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. Price for the new Kylaq could reach at Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
