MG Motor India has been developing the Gloster facelift for a long time. The brand will launch the updated SUV with significant changes from the inside out. Recent spy shots have also confirmed that the 2025 Gloster facelift will get notable exterior updates with more premium features inside. Let's get into more details.
The 2025 Gloster facelift will highlight a new front fascia. The spy shots suggest that it will get a large grille, split headlight with LED DRLs on top, and vertically stacked LED headlights. The side profile is quite similar to the current model while the rear profile has fresh tail lights. It is expected to get 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Gloster facelift will be positioned above the Mahindra XUV 400. Size-wise, it will share similar measurements to the Hyundai Creta EV.
Based on the recent sighting, the interior of the facelifted Gloster highlights a darker shade theme with black upholstery. It features a modern-looking redesigned dashboard and a larger free-standing touchscreen display for infotainment. Other noteworthy changes include a centre AC vent in a square shape, a climate control panel with different toggles, a new centre console with two sizeable grab rails, a wireless charging pad, and more.
Another interesting feature is the replacement of the electronically lockable rear differential with the three locking differentials at the front, centre, and rear. It could also have a massage function, ventilation features, and a climate zone for second-row passengers.
The rest of the features will be carried from the existing version including a digital instrument cluster, automatic parking, Level 2 ADAS, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, electric tailgate, auto-dimming IRVM, large panoramic sunroof, and more.
MG Gloster facelift is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. However, it is yet to be determined whether it will be turbocharged or twin-turbocharged. As for the power, it could generate 213 bhp and 478 Nm of torque, paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
