Popular car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Honda, Hyundai, and others have confirmed their participation at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Show. The auto expo will take place from January 17 to 22 Jan, 2025. While some brands will reveal their all-new car models, others will announce the full price list.
Here we will have an overview of Maruti cars that are to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show:
Maruti's first electric SUV, the e Vitara, made its global debut in Italy last month. The brand will now showcase the model in India next month at the Auto Expo. Based on the eVX concept, the production-spec e-Vitara will be manufactured at Maruti's production facility in Gujarat.
Visually, the electric SUV looks sturdy and sporty. It has an electric 4WD system, which is called ALLGRIP-e. With two battery packs - 49 kWh and 61 kWh and 2WD/4WD systems, the car can offer the best range of around 550 km on a full charge.
One of the popular Maruti cars, the Grand Vitara currently has a 5-seater configuration. Its 7-seater layout is also making its way to the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki is expected to show the seven-seater Grand Vitara at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
The larger version of Grand Vitara will retain its design as the smaller version. However, some exterior changes are expected such as redesigned front grille and new tail lamps. The cabin will have more space due to its extended layout. More features could also be on offer.
Apart from these two models, Maruti could showcase or talk about the special editions of Swift and facelift versions of Fronx and Baleno.
