Rolls-Royce has launched the Ghost Series 2 in the Indian market. Starting at Rs 8.95 crore (ex-showroom), the luxury sedan comes with a new upgraded version. It is available in three variants, Standard wheelbase, Extended wheelbase, and Black Badge.
The Ghost Series 2 has a few very subtle exterior design updates. This car is given an L-shaped LED DRL on the redesigned front headlamps to give it a modern feel but still with the old touch. A redesigned front bumper adorns the car to give it a more refined look. In particular, at the rear, it has LED taillights with vertical elements as well as updated double twin-chrome exhausts inserted into the bumper that give Ghost Series 2 its fresh and style look while yet able to display luxury appeal.
Inside new luxurious material and features of Rolls-Royce were added to the car. Now, the cabin comes with fresh material options such as Grey Stained Ash and Duality Twill to boost the elegance of the cabin. The glass panel of the dashboard stretching all along the width of the cabin gives a modernistic look in cohesion. Further, it updated the digital instrument cluster to give a newer feel. The in-car connectivity system has been improved, along with the rear seat entertainment that comes with wireless headphones, making long journeys even more comfortable.
The under-bonnet design remains the same as the brilliant 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 power unit in Ghost Series 2. It belts out 555 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. And if all that wasn't enough, there's also a Black Badge variant that belts out 584 bhp and 900 Nm of torque to ensure one has the best drive in life. All variants get an 8-speed auto, which makes for seamless motoring.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series 2 is offered in three unique variants, and each variant brings with it unique features and specifications. At Rs. 8.95 crore, the base model Ghost is the most affordable offering in the series. For a little more room and extra luxury, one can get the Extended Wheelbase variant, priced at Rs. 10.19 crore. This one provides much legroom and comfort, especially for the rear occupants.
The top-of-the-line variant, Black Badge, comes at Rs. 10.52 crore, and it is targeted for those who want something powerful and dynamic in terms of performance. The Black Badge variant, with its superior output from the engine and special design elements, is indeed the ultimate choice for those in love with Rolls-Royce. Each variant gives a unique blend of luxury, performance, and design, targeting various preferences of buyers.
