Mahindra had entered the next phase of its EV journey in India with the launch of its all-new electric SUVs — Mahindra XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6. First unveiled in November 2024, the Mahindra electric SUVs officially hit the market on February 14, 2025. Surprisingly, the brand had received an impressive 30,179 bookings on launch day alone.
As of April 9, 2025, Mahindra has successfully delivered over 3,000 all-electric Origin SUVs across India. The strong demand reflects the growing interest in premium, homegrown electric mobility solutions. The company has ramped up production and deliveries to meet the surge in bookings.

Customer interest is particularly strong for the fully loaded Pack Three variant, which includes the highest-spec features and performance upgrades. According to Mahindra, current booking trends show that:
59% of customers prefer the XEV 9e
41% have opted for the BE6
Despite the robust production efforts, customers in some regions are experiencing a waiting period of up to six months, depending on the chosen variant and location.
Mahindra has scheduled deliveries based on the variant and battery pack configuration. Here is the full timeline:

Pack Three 79 kWh – Rs. 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom): Deliveries started mid-March 2025
Pack Three Select 59 kWh – Rs. 27.90 lakh: Deliveries begin June 2025

Pack One 59 kWh – Rs. 21.90 lakh: Deliveries begin August 2025

Mahindra is actively scaling its delivery operations across the country to reduce wait times and ensure a smooth ownership experience. With the EV segment heating up, the XEV 9e and BE6 are set to be major players in the Indian market.
