In January 2025, Renault confirmed that the Triber would receive a mid-cycle facelift in the latter half of the year. Now, a heavily camouflaged test mule of the updated Triber has been spotted for the first time, hinting at the changes in store. Here’s what we could make out from the latest sighting:
The test mule of the 2025 Renault Triber showcases a split-type LED tail light setup, which seems to have been subtly reworked from the current version. A rear wiper is also visible, while the tailgate appears to have sharper creases, giving it a more sculpted look. Additionally, the rear bumper is likely to receive a redesign.
At the front, the Triber is expected to feature redesigned headlights, an updated grille, and a refreshed bumper. While the side profile remains mostly familiar, the facelift might introduce a new set of alloy wheels.
Though the interior hasn’t been revealed yet, a tweaked dashboard layout and a revised cabin theme—possibly inspired by the facelifted Nissan Magnite—could be in store. Some of the features are expected to be carried forward from the current model. This includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital driver’s display, and a 6-speaker sound system. Renault might also introduce automatic climate control and an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror (IRVM) for added convenience.
On the safety front, the updated Triber could come with six airbags as standard, an upgrade from the four airbags offered in the current model. Other safety features are likely to remain unchanged, including ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), hill start assist, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The 2025 Renault Triber is expected to retain the 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine from the current model. Here’s a quick look at its specifications:
Engine: 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol
Power: 72 PS
Torque: 96 Nm
Transmission: 5-speed manual (MT) / 5-speed AMT
Additionally, this engine also supports a CNG option, which can be retrofitted by an authorized vendor with the manual transmission.
That said, Renault might also introduce the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Kiger, which delivers 100 PS. However, there’s no official confirmation from the French carmaker regarding this potential upgrade.
