Porsche Cars will be unveiling the facelifted Cayenne SUV at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show on April 18,2023. While the automaker is yet to reveal the exterior design of the SUV, we have just received the interior images which showcase a futuristic cabin that is filled to the brim with technology.
Porsche states that the all-new cabin has been designed with an increased emphasis on driver engagement. The new SUV is expected to go on sale globally around mid-2023 and will also feature a refreshed exterior design with several mechanical changes.
The new Cayenne’s interior is aimed at providing an “even more intensive driving experience”. The SUV’s dashboard now features a full-width digital panel with three screens - 12.3-inch infotainment system, 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, and an optional 10.9-inch display for the passenger. The new passenger display is invisible from the driver seat and allows the passenger to set the navigation and handle the media settings, helping "take the strain off the driver".
Other new bits on the inside include the new-gen steering wheel, Taycan inspired dashboard mounted drive selector, cooled wireless charging pad, Siri voice control, and four USB-C fast charging ports. The SUV also gets a new video streaming service that plays movies on the central display when stationary or on the passenger side screen when moving. The brand says all these new changes plan to achieve "the right balance between digital and analogue elements".

Porsche is already testing the new Cayenne in Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa. The prototype models have already covered over 40 lakh kilometers in testing. Ahead of its reveal next month, Porsche engineers tested the new semi-active suspension on extreme conditions in the snow, desert, and high-altitude terrain.
Porsche already sells the current-gen Cayenne in India. The automaker will likely launch the facelifted model in our market by the end of 2023 or early-2024.
